Lietvesi Kiosk – The Gateway to Puumala!

The best stop in Puumala, Lietvesi Kiosk has opened its doors under the management of the hosts of Sahanlahti Resort. You’ll find the recently renovated, picturesque wooden Finnish summer kiosk and a scenic viewpoint right next to the Lietvesi Bridge by the scenic road 62.

Both the kiosk and its surroundings have been refreshed, and the now even wider selection of treats will serve passersby during the following opening hours:

The kiosk wakes up from its winter hibernation on May Day 1.5.2026, and to celebrate, the “Host’s Pancake Day” will be held on May 1st starting at 11:00.

Pancakes will be served as long as the host has the energy and batter to keep going! And of course, delicious traditional May Day doughnuts will also be available.

May 2026 opening hours:

• May 1–3: 11:00–17:00
• May 8–10: 11:00–17:00
• May 14–17: 11:00–17:00
• May 22–23: 11:00–17:00
• From May 29 onwards: daily 11:00–18:00
