Fishing license in Puumala

If you want to purchase a fishing permit / license, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the website: www.puumalankalatalousalue.fi

  2. Find the cooperative area where you intend to fish on the map.

You have the following options for purchasing a permit:

Option 1:
Buy the permit directly from sales points:

Option 2:
Buy the permit via the online store. The permit tag will be mailed to your home. You can find the online store through the same website (see cooperative-specific information). Delivery time for the tag is a few days. The municipal service point can assist you with using the online store if needed.

Option 3:
The municipal service point has permit tags available for the cooperatives listed at the beginning of this notice. You can pay for the permit directly to the cooperative’s bank account (account details are found on the above-mentioned website). Show your payment receipt at the service point, and the permit tag will be issued to you.

The Municipal Service Point is open on weekdays from 9 AM to 3 PM, providing advice and pick-up services for fishing permits.

Fishing permits for the following water area cooperatives (osakaskunta) can be picked up at the service point upon presenting a payment receipt:

  • Liittokivi-Ruokovesi Water Area Cooperative

  • Lietvesi Water Area Cooperative

  • Puumala Archipelago Water Area Cooperative

  • Rokansalo-Sorjola Water Area Cooperative

In addition, trolling permits specific to boats (70 € / year) for the Puumala Fisheries Area are available.

Please also remember to pay the national fisheries management fee (47 €).
