In Akanvakka Shop you will find gifts and crafts inspired by Nordic nature and folklore.
Akanvakka products are often playful, sometimes magical and always of high quality.
Some of the Akanvakka products include hand carved runestones, viking-age bronze jewellery, ancient craft tools, monster repellant spray to chase away bad dreams, needlebinding yarn from Saimas Spinnery, honey from Kiiskilä Farm and herbal salt from Riimukivi Farm.
The shop is situated on idyllic Riimukivi farmstead, where you are transported back in time to the 1800’s. You can pet the sheep and enjoy the local delicacies in the Summer Café – perhaps a cup of soot pot coffee by the open fire, served by the staff in authentic historical clothing.
Akanvakka shop and Riimukivi Historical Farm are open during the summer season 25.6.-10.8. TUE-SAT 11:00-18:00. (SUN-MON closed)
